Cast and Community Conversations

Theatre is storytelling and we want our stories to be authentic and meaningful to our audiences. We regularly community conversations and post-show to deepen and enrich our patron experience.

The DCPA Theatre Company offers free post-show discussions following select performances throughout the season.

Artist Post-Show Discussions: These talkbacks are always professionally moderated and generally include members of the cast and/or artistic team, so audiences can ask questions about their performance, the staging, costumes, plot, etc.

Community Post-Show Discussions: These talkbacks are planned for plays that warrant a deeper conversation may also include area subject matter experts who can delve into topics such as race, religion, gender identification, themes, or the environment.
